SKP are not about posing - we take your fun seriously

• We will discuss your requirements beforehand in detail. If we think that we are not an appropriate band for your event, we will politely decline. We will not take your money under false expectations.
• We do not 'fail to turn up'. (In fact SKP have never failed to arrive in more than 30 years of playing.)
• We can adjust our material and delivery according to the type of audience and nature of your event.
• Because of our extensive repertoire ranging from the 1950's up to the 2010s we can cover most age groups.
• SKP has full public liability insurance cover. *
• Our equipment is PAT tested and certified annually. *
• We are approachable, friendly and accommodating.

We work hard at being good - average music is pants!

• We provide all the equipment needed: instruments, P.A. system, amplifiers, speakers, cables, stands and lights.
• We require:
  • a playing area (minimum 20m²) away from elements such as wind and rain.
  • access to one or more correctly-grounded power sockets (13amp, 230..240 volts). We may need two sockets for larger and thus louder gigs.
• We can provide background and entrance music via pre-recorded CDs (on request).
• We can play for as short or as long a period as you require and we are happy to break for speeches, announcements, games, raffles, and so on (our P.A. system is at your disposal).
• Given sufficient advanced notice we can learn requested songs. (However, please be realistic with your choices: Bohemian Rhapsody would be difficult for a 3-piece band and Mariah Carey numbers could prove painful for everyone!)
